Cookie Rejector — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2025
Overview
Cookie Rejector is a Chrome extension that automatically clicks “Reject all” or minimal-consent buttons on cookie consent banners. This policy describes how the extension handles information.
Data we collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, or remote code.
Local data on your device
- On/off preference — saved with Chrome's
storage.syncAPI so you can enable or disable the extension. This may sync across your signed-in Chrome devices through Google's sync service. - Per-tab session flag — saved in
sessionStorageon a page to avoid clicking the same banner more than once. It is not sent to us.
How the extension works on web pages
To find cookie banners, the extension inspects page elements locally in your browser. It does not record browsing history, keystrokes, or page content, and does not send any website data to us or other third parties.
Third parties
We do not sell or share user data with third parties. Chrome's own sync infrastructure may store your on/off preference if you use Chrome sync.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
